Job Description | To lead teams of instructional designers on multiple projects and plan, co-ordinate, and monitor instructional design tasks on these projects ● To provide guidance, feedback, and training to all members of the Instructional Design team ● To conduct initial analysis for potential new client or projects and provide inputs for creating proposals – this will include interaction with the Sales team, members of other functions, and clients, and definition/creation of higher level instructional strategies/approaches with corresponding process definitions and effort estimates ● To review instructional design approaches, blueprints, and storyboards ● To carry out organizational (non-project) tasks such as writing for the company website/newsletter and project portfolio ● To work on all instructional design tasks for demos ● To support project/business managers in communication related to (new) clients or projects ● To establish functional and project-specific processes and procedures by creating, revising, and reviewing training material, guidelines, checklists, templates, etc, and training team members on the same ● Identify new trends, technologies, and tools in the Instructional Design and eLearning domains and explore how they can be implemented within the organization ● Coordinate with Project Managers and other Functional Leads and Managers to ensure that processes run smoothly across functions and projects ● Help analyze project data as well as internal and client feedback across projects, and define and implement actions to improve instructional design quality and associated processes |
